Bedingfield, President of Knudson Development Company and JS
Bedingfield Construction Management, has led the development and
construction of over $300 million in award-winning resort destination
projects in Hawai‘i from mobilization
through close-out. Knudson Development Company develops luxury
residences in Hawai‘i, Aspen, Scottsdale, Park City and Las Vegas.
Mr. Bedingfield also serves as Vice President, Construction, for
the Hualalai Resort in Kona. His responsibilities include planning, infrastructure,
resort amenities, residential construction and capital improvements. He
brings a strong knowledge of construction and engineering from both
field and management experience. His volunteer work includes the Kaupulehu
Dryland Forestry Preserve and Reforestation Project and Kohala Country
Fair Board.
William
T. Ruhl, AIA, architect
of the Hawai‘i
Wildlife Center, has been a principal partner of Ruhl Walker Architects
in Boston since 1996. His firm designs residential, institution-al
and commercial projects in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut,
New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Hawai‘i, North
Carolina, Vermont and St. Croix, USVI. He earned his Master’s
degree in Architecture at Yale University and Bachelor of Arts, cum
laude, at Duke University. He has won numerous awards from the American
Institute of Architects and Boston Society of Architects for housing
design, accessibility, and interior design excellence. He served
as faculty for the Boston Architectural Center from 1991-97. His
community appointments include service as Chair, Design Review Board,

Rhoady
Lee Architecture and Design, Architect for Construction phase
of the Hawai’i Wildlife
Center, has his office in Waimea on the Big Island. His firm, Rhoady
Lee ARCHITECURE&DESIGN, provides a complete range of services from Master
Planning to high-end Residential Design, He and his Associates are
professionals well versed in both commercial construction and residential
remodels and additions. He earned a Master in Architecture at Columbia
University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design at the
University of Washington Rhoady is involved in many community activities—he
is acting President of Kahilu Theatre in Waimea and has worked
with North Hawai‘i

Jason
Umemoto, ASLA,
and Nancy
Cassandro, ASLA, are the landscape architects for
the Hawai‘i Wildlife Center. Their firm, Umemoto Cassandro
Design Corporation, is located in Kailua on the island of O‘ahu.
They engage clients as design team members who can enjoy the opportunities of
the design process and delight in the creation of respectful,
beautiful and functional landscape environments. Jason and Nancy
are licensed landscape architects in Hawai‘i. Both are nationally
certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board. Jason
also holds AIA Allied Membership. He earned his B.S. in Landscape
Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1989. Nancy earned her
B.S. in Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona in 1989. She

Phil
Tinguely is President of Tinguely Development,
Inc., a company intentionally organized to be vertically integrated,providing
development, design and construction services to assure complete
quality control of the end product. After a productive 13-year career
in California and Washington, he moved to Kona in 1988 to pioneer
new opportunities with Mark Richards of the MarylGroup. Over the
course of the next eight years, he was a key player in the growth
of the Maryl Group as one of the largest construction firms in the
State of Hawai‘i. In 1995, he launched his own successful firm where
experienced project managers estimate and direct diverse construction
