Facility Maintenance Technician (Hawai‘i Island)
Part time, hourly
The Facility Maintenance Technician (FMT) carries out duties necessary for the care and maintenance of the two-acre facilities and protection of our wildlife patients. The FMT responsible for basic care, maintenance and repair of the facility, including interior, exterior structures. This position is to be scheduled for twice weekly (approximately 5-16 hours/week) for general maintenance and can have additional hours as needed for projects up to 19 hours/week.
Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician (Oʻahu)
Part time, hourly
The Oʻahu Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician (ORT) supports operations at the Oʻahu Satellite Clinic. Operations are island-wide and based out of the Hawaiʻi Wildlife Center: Oahu Satellite located at the Honolulu Zoo. The ORT helps to ensure that Hawaiʻi Wildlife Center’s high standards for animal welfare are met through suitable wildlife care practices, husbandry, and daily maintenance tasks. The ORT will also assist with seabird response, stabilization, care, and transport during the Oʻahu seabird fallout season.
